Ashley Camenson
Mrs. Camenson's family
Welcome to
Kyle the dog4th grade. My name is Ashley Camenson and this is my third year in 4th grade at Devinny. I am passionate about learning and passing this love onto my students. I have a double BA in English Literature and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, as well as an MS with a double degree in Biological Science and Elementary Education. Outside of school, I love to be in the mountains. My favorite activities are hiking, backpacking, cross country skiing with my goldendoodle, Kyle, and dragging my husband around the world. I am so grateful to be a part of the Devinny team and your childrens' lives. Here's to a great year!

Kerri Fischels
My name is Kerri Fischels and I am excited to be teaching 4th grade at Devinny this year. I’m originally from Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with a double major in Elementary Education and Spanish. I later received my Master’s degree from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction. This will be my third year teaching at Devinny and it will be my ninth year teaching 4th grade. I’m really looking forward to an exciting year with all of these amazing 4th graders! Teaching is only one of my passions. I spend most of my time outside of school with my husband Andy and our two amazing kids, Charlie and Hayden. I also love watching Rockies baseball and Iowa football. Being outdoors, hiking, and spending time with family and friends are all important to me. Traveling and learning about different cultures is something that I find interesting and I have been lucky enough to travel to 17 different countries. I'm looking forward to a fun year of learning with all of these amazing 4th graders!

Alexa Jakubiak
My name is Alexa Jakubiak and I am looking forward to teaching 4th grade at Devinny this year. I received my Associates degree from Red Rocks Community College and my Bachelors degree from Metro State University of Denver. After graduating, I was a guest teacher in Adams 12 and Jeffco. This will be my 6th year teaching 4th grade and I could not be more excited about it. I am delighted to be part of the Devinny team and look forward to this year.
When I’m not teaching, you can find me hanging out with my best friend and husband Ian. We will be celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary this August. We are ‘newish’ homeowners and thoroughly enjoy spending time in our backyard nicknamed ‘The Oasis’. We love and care for a calico cat named Mocha, and an almost 3 year old brindle boxer named Calliope. Some hobbies I delight in are hiking, sewing, video games, basketball, rollerblading, mountain biking, snowboarding, yoga and organizing (yes, I consider it a hobby). I’m looking forward to watching our 4th graders learn, succeed, and grow this year.

Kelli Salvucci I am so excited to be back as a member of the Devinny Family and look forward to being your child’s teacher this year! This is my 18th year as an educator. The first seven years, I taught in a parochial school and the past 11 in Jefferson County. My Bachelor’s degree is from Metropolitan State College of Denver and my Master’s degree is from the University of Colorado Denver.
I am a Denver native and grew up in beautiful and culturally diverse North Denver, sometimes referred to as the Highlands. This year my husband Ken and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We have two children, Aaron our son is 29 and is a Surety Bond Executive who celebrated his third anniversary in June to our beautiful daughter-in-law Taylor who is a Speech Pathologist, and our daughter Claire who is 24 and an Inside Wholesale Financial Broker. Both of our kids, as well as our daughter-in-law are graduates of Regis University. We are excitedly awaiting the birth of our first grandchild in September. I am a huge baseball fan and absolutely love to fly fish in the beautiful mountains of Colorado every chance I get. This year my husband is going to teach me how to tie my own flies!
